Don’t have to much to say today

Imagine me running out of words.  I don’t want to keep boring you with insurance  and all that stuff.  Ron called and I told him about switching from Dr. Reckmeyer and I was telling him the story about who they said would be involved in my proceedure and how They said Ripa would be doing it but Heiser would assist.  Come tp find out Dr. Heiser was in charge of Ron’s surgery when he tried to accidently do the splits a while back involving his creeper.  He had torn all the ligaments loose in his leg and some muscle had to be reattatched to the leg.  They patched him up and he is doing fine.  Now for the kicker, the Dr. that worked on him is a paralyzed from the neck down but he sees everything the doctor is doing that is actually another doctor but Heiser tells him exactly what to do.  Ron said it is amazing to watch him analyze and direct  people just like he is doing it himself.  He has a brother also in the group who is not paralyzed.  I got the papers ready to be filled out, but they want to know my life history.  I don’t mind but I am going to be guessing months and years.  Those things took place a long time ago.  A lot of guessing going on.  Ron said he might be put off by the A-fib plus going off the warfrin which is an absolute necessity once they are sure I won’t   go into a lot of bleeding, which will probably not happen, I will get through it. ok. but with A-fib even if it is controlled which it is right now but being off the blood thinner is a critical time cause if my heart goes out of rhythm because of A-fib I could have a stroke and it happens so fast many people do not get to the hospital in time.  Now I am not a doctor, but I have been told this from 2 doctors. family and cardiologist .  Joe goes tomorrow to the heart institute and has his yearly thorough check up.  I sure hope it  comes out ok.  It will be interesting to see what they have to say about both of us.Joe has always came out really good so hope he will tomorrow. It is supposed to warm up to maybe 40 but possible sleet turning of snow..  I am ready  for winter to leave. Way ready!!!

  6. Hi Lucy, you can talk about anything you want and you are never boring.
Hope Joe comes out with a good report tomorrow and I bet he will.
Really is good that you are getting nearer to having your problems all fixed up too. You will think you already have your "new body". Can't get any better than that. :)

  10. Sounds like a very interesting doctor. Quite inspirational. You're going to come through your surgery with flying colors. I hope Joe's test goes well. I find out about my knees this week. We had 5 inches of snow the other night, today we're having a thunderstorm. CRAZY weather.
