Better today

It is amazing how  much a person can improve if  we try.  I was bleary eyed yesterday till noon and just snapped  out of it.  I am trying to just start getting back to normal and slowly doing that.  It got cold here last night.  In the 30’s.  Supposed to get to 60 then start warming up tomorrow. If it gets my flowers I will be very unhappy.  Connie is bringing our dinner tonight.  She and Ron and Larry were at my surgery and Joe. I earned the title of being Mrs. Helpful.  The nurses brought me out  and they said they were going to transfer me, from one bed to the other so I said ok and started trying to move myself and 3 nurses were trying to hold me down and saying, no, no, we will do it.  You are going to break your incision open.  Same thing happened when I got to my room.  I am not used to being waited on.  Then I rattled on about I didn’t have any anesthetic and I had no pain.  I had a shot instead that wiped me out.  This is true, they aSKED   me what kind of music I liked and I said Country so they put George Jones on. That was  weird. I have never had an experience like that.  Spunky was so happy when he saw me and  he just about wagged his tail right off and howled and howled.  My new neighbor is moving already. and trying to get a friend to rent it so she can get her deposit back.  She has already told me her friend has 5 mean kids, and they run all over the place, in peoples yards. so back to square one.  Oh well we are used to it.  Must go. will  be back.

It's good to know you're doing well that is so nice of your daughter to bring you your dinner.
It's good to let someone else wait on us, ha. I'm like you I don't know how to let someone else do for me. You just take care. Jean

So glad you're still doing well and glad your dinner will be brought to you. Isn't it amazing how us old timers just can't let others do for us because we're used to doing it ourselves.

Dear Lucy, so glad to hear from you and that you are improving. I am glad they played some good George Jones for you. :)
Take care and let the family pamper you. I know they will.

Hey, I cannot believe it we have a NEW Lucy de blogger here! Seems youare recovering well. Yeah, there are folk who cannot accept 'Being taken care of', too used to doing it themselves.

Good to SEE you back in full force...

Glad to hear you are doing well. I'm happy someone brought you dinner. Poor Spunky was worried sick about you. A shame about the new neighbors.
