Memorial Day

It makes me feel sad every year.  Not just my son, but  Marty’s dad, my 3 sisters and my 5 brothers and mom and dad.  I do a lot of reflecting at this time of year.  Being the youngest of a big family, I thought I had the best family of all.  What I didn’t know  was  that our crops depended on the weather.  No irrigation or special for the crops. I just went with the flow.  Let everyone else do the worrying and I guess that was a good thing cause I had to take over big time with my first marriage.  I am not going to borrow trouble and  get back in the complaining mode.  It is warm and humid here now.  Just turned the air on.  I go to Dr. Merliss tomorrow  It will be interesting to see what he has to say.  I do feel good  so all I need is a cure for arthritis.  Going to try to load some more pictures.

Hi Lucy,
I agree with you. Reminiscing can make a person sad when you have lost loved ones. ..I do that, too.
It is so good to know that you are feeling good! I am glad.
Take care...

Yes this is a time to think of those gone. so you and I have the distinction of being the 'baby of the family'.

I thought we looked a lot alike. Except for my beard of course...

We are all so glad that the health issue seems to have turned around. Now if you could just kick Arthur out. hahahaha

It's good to remember those who gave their lives to save our county.
