Made it to anther day

I sometimes don’t realize that I do get new readers.  First I heard from DD about2 or 3 weeks after her last post. She sent me an e-mail saying that she had decided not to continue blogging.  She said she  just had to work to get it in. Explained a family problem that  was solved by the time she wrote me.  She made me laugh when she said, “I am telling you, Lucy, because I know you won’t give up until you hear from me  I told her I was sorry to see her go but I understood.”  I do miss her .  My thought was that she was  pretty involved with her kids and hubby and a rather well to do family.   She was fun.  She said she would miss all of us.  We got Spunky home last night.  She pulled 2 teeth and took a growth off the eyelid.  I know a lot of people would think we are crazy, living from one Soc. Security check to another plus he is old, but I am old to and not ready to have any one put me to sleep.  He looks like he has been in a fight.  They left a stitch or more and said if he was trying to get it loose he will have to wear a neck collar that keeps him from reaching it.  Cathy, I am going to see if you have an e-mail.  I went to the Dr. yesterday. and he said I either strained  a muscle in the pelvic are.  However he thinks it may have been fractured  because  I AM waLKING a little off. He also said that there is no use taking x-rays, because they have very little  to do anything but diagnose it and then it is a matter of letting it heal on it’s own.  He  said I am walking well enough that it will heal on it’s own. Every other sentence was, “do not fall again..”  He checked my eyes, ears and aLL and said head injuries are often  a part of   a fall like that.  It is going to be a long time before I hear the end of this.  I picked about 20 cherry tomatoes off of my  topsy turvy planter.  I brought those in so no critters get them.  They are nearly completely ripe so I did it.  They are supposed  to be cherry or a little bigger size but they are not as big as the ones Kathy brought us.  She said they are supposed to be  smaller but she said they just kept growing.  They are good.

I had to delete my comment because of errors will try again. Glad Spunky is home and hope
he gets to feeling better. I also hope you get better.

We have had such hot weather I am ready for fall. The leaves are falling so I guess that
will keep me busy for awhile. The yard man can cut them up but I will still have to rake some.
We have not had rain lately so now everything is dry.

I have enjoyed watching the hummingbirds lately they are so cute. Tell Joe and Spunky hello.

Thank you for telling us about DD. She seems like such a nice lady and I've wondered about her. Hope you and Spunky continue to feel better.

Great harvest off the tomato plant. I smile when I hear a quote for anyone, doctor or not, "Don't fall again." Like you planned that one and had another in mind. LOL ARE THEY CRAZY???
Glad the Spunky one is taken care of, but you could have tied a string to the door knob you know, it might work once. LOL
