Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Have a great Christmas and Happy New year??????

I  think they are all acceptable and they truly mean the same, in the long run.  Working with the public can be a challenge I discovered.  You soon learn that different people require different things.  Main Thing!!!  Keep them happy.  Of course there are scrooges that you just keep your mouth shut and if there is another clerk, hope that she gets them next time.  All is fair in love and war. For the most  part considering I needed certain hours to work so I could be sure my kids were taken care of without paying a whole lot for a babysitter. I have been food waitress, bar waitress, clerk in grocery store, merchandiser, all at night, except the merchandiser.  Clerk in a Camera store, days.  That was where I worked  when Marty’s dad died.

I had a beef stew made from scratch, not frozen or canned in the crock pot by 6:00 this morning.  I have the crud that is going around.  It wouldn’t be so bad except I do non stop coughing.  I am about to turn into a cough drop.  I would wake up and reach for a cough drop when I would wake myself coughing.  Winter is here for sure.  It is supposed to drop to 2 below tonight and 1 below tomorrow night.  As I understand it there are winter storm warnings out to the west and north.  Valentine had 8 inches of snow last night when I went to bed.  I turned my electric blanket up and stayed warm enough but I still coughed all night. Nose is like a faucet that won’t shut off.  OK, I think I better quit now that I have been more graphic than need be.  It truly is a really nasty virus and lasts about 2 or 3 weeks.  I hope it does not start floating around where all my blogger friends are.  I would not wish this on anyone.

Joe is up so I better go get my shower over with and find a place to hide out and dwell on misery.

That is a miserable felling the nose running and coughing. Hope you learn to not breathe the bad air and only breath the good stuff with no germs..... LOL Sherry is Sharing the coughing, but she is getting better. I had the oddest thing happen a few days ago. My nose ran (as you said) like a faucet for two or three hours then stopped. Weird.

Hope you get to feeling better, the beef stew sounds good for that weather.
We remember Valentine, it is a pretty town.

We are having warm weather with
rain. The week-end will turn cold.
I think that is the reason people
get sick weather warm then cold.
Hope you start feeling better.

Beef Stew sounds good I think I will go get ingredients and make some. Bon Appetit...
