People are Different now, or I am

Maybe I have grown up a little or a lot, but many things offend me now that never would have bothered me before.  I think like Shirl said, the world is upside down.  Jack, I am confused about the circles thing to.  I am not sure I even know how I got in there.  Sandie is computer savvy.  You Jack are to, even if you don’t admit it.  I do know that I express my opinion on here more than I should, and I need to stop that.  I am curious and wonder how many answers I will get.  I am wondering how many people use the term, Merry Christmas.  Why would it be so bad if I said Happy Holidays to a group of strangers If felt I needed to express good wishes. I realize Christ is in Christmas but when I say Happy Holidays, I am saying the same thing as Merry Christmas in a different way, but still respectful. Will get off of this track. I just get so disillusioned by the human race some times.  I think with the exception of Sherry and Sandie and a few people like my kids and friends that are on Facebook they are a bunch of people that are so one track minded  they don’t know how to function without being hateful.

I went and had coffee and breakfast, Cornflakes, and feel like a new person but still have the same beliefs.  But I will drop it now.  I see where Polaroid has came out with an I-pad and television.  I keep wondering if the one TV that was lit up but not very clear compared to the others was a polaroid.  I had a polaroid camera that by the time I got mine as a gift made clear pictures, for that time.  Better get off of here and get something useful done.

I say Merry Christmas. Hope you have a nice day today and stay warm. We're going to be in the 80's but another cold front is coming. I got some sweat shirts out.

How thankful I am that you don't think I am hateful for that would go against the core of my belief and my witness!

You know you asked who changed - we all have changed. The world is a place I don't think my grandparents would even recognize any more!

Happy holidays vs. Merry Christmas - I think it was because the stores TOLD their employees that had to say it and not Merry Christmas. I think that is what the problem is. They didn't want to 'offend' anyone - but they did offend the Christians.

Now I am one who says Merry Christmas Because I believe we are losing all our rights as Christians. But if you wish me a Happy Holiday - that would be fine for me too!

Love, sandie

Imma Merry Christmas kinda guy because I think it sounds Happier. Having heard and used it all my life it just fits the season. After Christmas I will say Happy New Year.

It doesn't offend me if someone says happy Holidays or Happy Hanukkah, their choice. But I do agree with Sandie, When a Store tell it's employees NOT to say Merry Christmas, there is where the rub comes in.

Maybe there are other things that they tell the employees NOT to say, but I haven't heard it.

Anyway it doesn't bother me for someone to wish me a Happy Holiday. This is a festive time of the year.

Everyone has an opinion. I assume.

Love from Central Florida.

I have always said Merry Christmas
and will continue. I don't want
people telling me what to say
because I may offend someone well excuse me maybe what they say offends me. We are adults get
use to different customs. They
continue to try and take all our
rights. I will just say BA-HUM-BUG

Glad you are feeling some better.
Hope Spunky is healing good. Tell Spunky Merry Christmas and hope
he gets a plate of treats.

I say Merry Christmas mostly, because that is what I'm used to saying. But I have nothing against Happy Holiday and say it sometimes too. Hope you are having a good day and hope Spunky is getting closer to being completely healed. Take care, Sheila
