This is the last time for this year MERRY CHRISTMAS AND THE HAPPIEST NEW YEAR EVER

Shirl you should have seen Spunky last night.  Ron and Kathy came and dropped off presents and left over food from their Christmas for the family dinner.  They stayed and we had a nice visit with them and our refrigerator is packed with food.  We won’t be able to eat ALL OF IT,  but we have room in the freezer.  They brought some presents and as soon as I picked up a box to open he Spunky  almost right in front of me and howled because he WANTED to unwrap it.  It is a pretty color, almost fuchsia and buttons down the front and has a belt.  It fits pretty tight though so I may exchange it for a larger size up.  He did such a good job  with color and style if I can’t get the same, only size and color I will want to keep,it and I can make myself  a little smaller.  Anyway he finally got the toy you got him and went over to Ron and wanted to play.  So Ron and him played.  The cushions to the couch are ready to go up.  Spunky is not.  I tried yesterday to put a  wedge  cushion up as a ramp and cushions, just 2 and that left a place and left a  CUSHION WIDE GAP for him to get up on.  He would walk over to the cushions that were on the couch and pump his 2 front feet to gather momentum and I would say, now you can’t jump you come over here and walk up this ramp.  He would not do it.  So I had to take the cushions out and put them back on the floor.  I knew I was not going to be able to be there  to watch him.  I had a turkey to cook. I put it in a cooking bag in the oven.  It turned out good.  I have to slice the rest of it and freeze it, today,  That will be my last Thanksgiving dinner I cook even for  just us.  I had to sit down a few times, Joe helped me put things away and I then went to my chair and collapsed, but I proved to myself I could still do it. I hope everyone has a good Christmas Eve and a super Christmas day.  Soak  it in for as year.  Larry came over with a big Christmas tray of homemade goodies and a 50:00 gift certificate yesterday around noon. They all treated us so good.
