I got up at 6:30 to put a pot of beans and ham hocks, in the crock pot. I would rather have the hocks but Joe doesn’t care for any fat but I decided to do it my way this morning. They looked pretty lean compared to some. I got through yesterday pretty good. I fixed a casserole and put the groceries away and was going to sneak in a vacuum of the main floor. Just could not do it. Ran out of energy. The strange part of it is, my body just says, sit down now and I do and I just work to get air. Will be glad when something positive gets done. I am going to read other blogs today and listen to normal people. I go in Wed. to see if my blood level is ok. I think it is but you never know. I got up and peeked out and there is a little snow on the ground. Supposed to get more. Shirl and Sheila got careless with their dancing and now we have snow. I almost forgot to tell you when I was mixing the beans and ham hocks up my spoon slipped and some of the water splashed out on my Pajamas plus even though I washed my hands the smell of the ham hocks was still there. I walked past Spunky who was asleep??? on the couch, his bed. I reached over and patted him on the head. He smelled the hocks and I had to tell him to go back to sleep and he was still watching me when I came in here. He is like Sandie’s Disco, he loves to eat and and watches Joe and I like a hawk at night when we are watching TV cause he knows we try to snack without him knowing it. We don’t crunch cause he hears us. Crinkle a bag and he is Johnny on the spot.

Good morning dear Lucy, spunky smells breakfast already :)
That is funny about Spunky. My
dog was the same way, don't chew
of wrinkle a bag or she would
come running.
Hope you soon start to feel better.
Maybe after you get your results of
the blood work they can help solve
your problem.
I think it is Shirl's new dancing shoes, they are powerful. We have to dance extra hard to get snow here and we ended up freezing nearly all of the United States...ha. We'll try to tone it down. The forecast is teasing about some more next Fri/Sat...but that is a long way off and it usually changes. Hope you have a great day in spite of the snow and cold. Take care and stay warm, Sheila
The beans and ham hocks sound GOOD! And don't be tempting no Beagle's nose with that smell! You might get licked to death!!!
Hope you soon get some relief with health and weather...
Love from Florida
PS: It is hard to believe this is the end of January.
Your blog is nice but I have trouble reading the blue print on black. Hope your feeling good today.
Girl I am worried about you and praying.
You sure do KNOW Disco - he is exactly like that - in fact he is looking to mooch right now. He is so lovable - but only to us! lol
Stay in and rest.
Love, sandie
Spunky is a smart one for sure. Take care of yourself and rest, Lucy.
