OK, time to pass this along to my strong supporters, My blog supporters

Well, here is the plan.  Dr. Merliss said my heart was racing yesterday so the meds are not working as well as he hoped.  He said he hoped  that I would come back with a much larger improvement. He said he had hoped that by me relaxing about having a stroke everything would fall into place.  He said I was high risk for a stroke so he offered more medication but did not guarantee that it would slow my heart down.  He said that since I was in pretty good shape, other than the a-fib so he decided that if I agreed it would be surgery.  A pacemaker and whatever it is to seal off a portion of the heart.  He said if everything went well I may be coming home that night or the next day.  They are setting everything up this week  and they will call me, when they are ready.  Funny part of this is, I ran into the cardiologist going back out, the one I do not like very well.  He is the one that set me up with Merliss in the first place..  He said “well Hi there, did he get you set up with something” we talked a little bit and I told him about the surgery and he said well guess what, he did the same surgery on me.  He said he was 58 when they did it.  He said, he is the best there is on that.  He said he went home 3 hrs. after it was done and Dr. Merliss told him he should at least stay till night but Dr. Hibbard said  I went home and he said “ I was a very bad patient” and before I even thought, I said “I bet you were”. and he just waved and said he was glad to see the surgery because I am a major candidate for a stroke  He was really nice and pleasant.  I wanted to say, Is that really you, Dr. Hibbard. Dr. Merliss said he felt after reading my history he got from Hibbard that I did have a lite stroke when I could not get the words out.  He said possibly more than one in the last 3 OR 4 months.  I waited for Joe so he could go up together.  Worked fine but we went down stairs to go home and he said he was going to find a bathroom.  He got lost again.  I showed him the sign.  He sat down last night and made out an order for Spunky’s joint medication.  Took him a while but he did it ok.  It worries me and I think it is time I got fixed just in case.  He is up so have to go.

Well at least they have come to some conclusion. That is good. It is better to have a decision then an indecision. And you are strong girl.
