Spunky is home and so far so good.

I didn’t realize I DIDN’T CAPTION THE PHOTOS. The one at the top is my grandson Neil and in the middle great grandson Ryan who just made his career the Marines for the next several years and Neils wife Carole. Then of course CHISTOPHER at Christmas. I think he has grown a little taller and  gaining weight slowly but still a ball of energy. Now back to Spunky.  He is on 4 meds.  One is the same as what Joe and I take for our joint pain.  One for the lining of his stomach because the pancreatitis made it so sore he still is pretty tender. He is glad to be home.  Oh yes right now we are doing ok with his food.  He has a special canned food to wrap around his pills and he gets 1/3rd of a cup of dog food twice a day.  So far so good.  But when he starts feeling really good he is going to howl at me for not having any treats.  That is out permanently, later when we know he is well he can have 2 at the most , diet bones from the vet. Weightwas one problem that set off his illness from the beginning.

Good for Spunky. My former dog had pancreatitis once and Chuck accused me of trying to kill the dog, I did not take him to the vet the first day he got sick. A day or two before he got sick he chewed up a toad. UGGGG
