Was getting down until I got Jacks message.

Life is tough but I am tougher.  That  just really made me feel so much better.

My oldest son is coming over today and get measurements for the new railings on the porch, much to Joe’s distress.  He was not going to put one up because he thought that would keep me in the house. I told him  I was not going going to be a prisoner in my own house.  Ron , the son that helped him with the plumbing is just furious with Joe.  He just seems to have checked out of any family get together’s, Has been more hateful and I can’t pin down when it started being really noticeable  but my guess is about 2 months ago.  Nothing new happened that I know of.  Ron and him had their problems while Ron was doing the plumbing.  If Joe is watching or trying to be helpful he is constantly criticizing the other person.  Enough of that.  My eye is  is just about every color of the rainbow and a little black to boot.  Sore is not the word for it.  My foot is a little blacker where I twisted it going down.  My hip is blacker.  Knee is doing better than everything else.  Guess I am on the mend.  From now on I will just give occasional updates so it is not to boring. I will say this, I think he knows now that the mail lady and Gary, the guy that is doing the house to rent it and came running over to help me saw him he did not even look at me. Joe just came sauntering around the corner and said I told her not to go put the mail n the box. and Gary and the mail lady both told him it was not the proper time to place blame on me but , see if I am ok.  Joe didn’t even look at me. when he came around the corner. I don’t know what the problem is or if he has been that way all along and I just would deal with it.

Lincoln is having it’s first football game today.  It is going to be hotter than blue blazes.  It has been in the upper nineties all week and is supposed to break Sunday for a while.

I'm so glad you are getting your rails. I agree no one wants to feel in prison. Maybe you can carry a little light cane with you outside for support. Take care and get well. We love you Lucy.

I am glad you are getting the railing put in. Your hubby needs to treat you with some TLC because of this fall.

Glad you feel on the mend. And you have proven (over a 'few' years) that you are a survivor.

Help from the neighbor and mail man was very nice and I am sure welcome. Just take care of yourself and get 'more better!!!'

Lucy you are a survivor and Joe should be thankful he has someone like you
that keep things going. I admire you with the way you handle things and
the word "GIVE UP" is not in your vocabulary. Lucy you are a trooper and I
love you for your stamina "Definition Strength"
