Let me tell you when mom gets into her 80’s and her kids are all in their 50”s and 60”s you feel like you are old, really old. My youngest will be 51, I think. I keep my kids at one age for 2 or 3 years then let them move ahead. I am sure they would like to stay younger. Haven’t figured out how to work that. Now back to Spunky. He pulled a good one last night. He woke Joe up about 3:30 in the morning to go out and do his duty. He walked in our bedroom and looked at me and turned around and let Joe put his collar and leash on. They went out and he came back into the bedroom where he had already had his treats for the night at 10:30 when I went to bed. He had the nerve to come in and howl at me for a treat, all bright eyed and bushy tail. at 3:15 in the AM. Needless to say he did not get one. I think he is feeling better. He still limps pretty lite at times and then more pronounced. I don’t think he is in pain. I was rubbing his ears, neck, and worked my way down to his tail. He just sits so still. The cushings disease makes him itch more. He had his operated leg held up so I could itch his skin between his leg and his body. He held that leg up for a good 5 or 10 minutes, so the strength must be coming back. Shirl, I am going to try to send you an e-mail. as soon as I get off of here, which is now.
