I am in a lot of pain, hopefully temporary. As you all know I have talked about The Fall, outside on the concrete is affecting me now and has been for a while. Not quite like this. I got up from the computer yesterday and took about 2 steps and my left hip and knee went into excruciating pain. I knew the hip needed replaced but it was not causing to much discomfort. When Gary and Judy the mail carrier helped me up I took my first step on my left side where Judy was. I put my weight on it and I could bear weight but just felt like something crumbled. Like paper wading up. I held my weight and said nothing, and they sat me on the step. They left after finding my lens for the glasses I had on. By then Joe was there but he did not offer to help me in the house and went on the back gate. I have nearly forgiven him since he apologized. I used a cane to get around but discovered my wrist was sprained on the side I needed to use the cane. I am thinking it is deteriated and deteriating.. I feel my hands are tied right now. Insurance is not that good, balance is not that good. I can not sit to long at the computer. Hope will be checking in each day for a while but have to deal with the pain when it hits.

So sorry you are in pain. Pray you find something that will help. Those falls can happen so fast and unexpected. Yesterday I slipped by the truck on leaves and went down with one leg under the truck. Thank goodness it wasn't moving. Take care of yourself.

Oh Lucy I am so sorry that you are in pain. I get in pain some times and I can identify. Not as bad as yours. And i know pain can make you want to give up. I am putting you on my prayer list. sandie
Lucy so sorry to hear you're in so much pain. I hope you get to feeling better soon. This weather doesn't help! I worked pretty hard yesterday after the children left and today my bad back has about gone out on me. It has been rainy and messes here now for two days and it's suppose to rain again tomorrow.
